Consulting was established in 2005 to help businesses with their
management of physical risks (as opposed to financial and other
corporate risks). Business owners often find it difficult to chart
their way through the regulatory burden laid upon them in the
areas of health and safety, environment and disability. Keith Ryan, the owner and principal consultant of Samten Consulting believes that faced with the depth and variety of legal duties many business owners focus on merely meeting regulatory demands and do not pay sufficient attention to pro-actively managing risks and caring for employee's wellbeing. Samten Consulting tries to help relieve that burden and bring the focus of its clients back to supporting and caring for its workforce in order for them to work more effectively in pursuit of its business goals. Having seen the results of workplace accidents, injuries and ill-health, Keith's vision for Samten Consulting is: "To reduce human suffering by helping
organisations manage workplace health, safety and wellbeing"
